Job summary

Kennametal Stellite Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate CNC equipment, read blueprints, and modify G-code to produce precision parts. You will work with mills, lathes, and grinders, following safety and quality procedures to meet production targets. A background in vocational training and 1–3 years of automated/CNC experience is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential as you support lean initiatives and maintain documentation for all manufacturing steps.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC equipment and reading job orders accurately.
• Ability to modify G-code and set up machining parameters.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T.
• Understanding of shop math and precision measurement.
• Ability to work under standard operating procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures quality products to meet production demand and budget.
• Sets up equipment feed, speed, and temperature; operates CNC, milling, turning, or grinding tasks.
• Selects materials and prepares parts to specifications.
• Reads blueprints and verifies work against quality controls.
• Operates one or more CNC machines and may perform basic programming
• Maintains safe, organized work environment and data documentation.
