Job summary

Kennametal Stellite Inc. seeks a skilled Machinist II for 2nd shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm) at our Kentucky plant. You will support and maintain plant equipment, work in a fast-paced team, and develop tooling and fixturing under supervision.

Training with senior machinists will help you grow into an experienced machinist with CNC lathes and mills. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, related training, and 4 years of machinist experience; overtime and spill response participation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; machinist training preferred.
• Four years of experience as machinist or tool and die preferred.
• Ability to understand instructions, follow processes, plan and coordinate work.
• Willingness to work overtime including Saturdays.
• Participation in Spill Response program is required.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain plant equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop tooling and fixturing under guidance of senior machinist; learn CNC lathes and mills.
• Assist in fixture development and problem solving; grow into experienced machinist.
