Tosoh Quartz is seeking a CNC Operator I in Portland, OR to set up and operate CNC machines, inspect parts, and ensure conformance to specifications. The role requires reading blueprints, following travelers, and maintaining equipment integrity.

You will work under supervision, perform basic maintenance, and contribute to a clean, organized work area daily. This entry-level position offers growth in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience operating CNC machines or CNC certificate preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production travelers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in CNC machine setup and operation.
• Read blueprints and travelers to ensure correct machining.
• Identify problems and collaborate with senior operators to resolve.
• Maintain and clean equipment; perform daily housekeeping of work area.
