Job Summary

Operate CNC Lathe Machines to fabricate production parts.

Reporting To

Production Manager

Essential Job Functions
  1. Operate CNC lathe machines.
  2. Make appropriate offsets and adjust tools.
  3. Read and interpret blueprints as needed.
  4. Properly use calipers, veneers, and thread gauges.
  5. Properly and safely load and unload machines.
  6. Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machines.
  7. Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
  8. Utilize and abide by all safety procedures.
  9. Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
Skills and Abilities
  • Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbal and written.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail with precision equipment and products.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required. State Apprentice Program Certification in CNC a plus.
  • 2-5 years operating experience in CNC lathe machining.
  • Ability to hold tight tolerances.
Physical Requirements
  • Required to stand, walk, or bend for extended periods of time.
