Job summary

Staccato is seeking a CNC Operator to support our growing team in the United States. You will be integral in producing slides, barrels, and small parts for our 2011 pistols, maintaining tight tolerances and high quality through precise measurements and tooling maintenance.

As part of a world-class shop, you will follow safety procedures, participate in preventive maintenance, and ensure a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate with one year of machine shop experience or a machining certificate from an accredited college or trade school.
  • Attention to detail and good judgment are essential.
  • Familiarity with CNC milling and turning machines and associated cutting tools and techniques.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and an aptitude for working within specific tolerances.
  • Basic knowledge of machining and ability to grasp technical concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Verifies settings by measuring positions and first-run parts in accordance with specifications.
  • Maintains specifications by measuring, troubleshooting, and replacing worn tooling while following QA procedures.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Performs preventative maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
  • Keeps work areas clean and ensures all tasks are performed within safety parameters.

You will be an integral part of our mission to build the Best Shooting Handgun in the United States. Our machine shop operators produce the slides, barrels, and small parts for our 2011 pistols. Staccato has built a world-class team that complements our best-in-class pistols.   • Verifies settings by measuring positions, and first-run parts, while adhering to all specifications.
  • Maintains specifications by taking measurements, troubleshooting, and replacing worn tooling while adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure that work areas are cleaned daily and that all work is accomplished well within all safety parameters.
Requirements
  • High School graduate with one (1) year of machine shop experience or a machining certificate from an accredited college or trade school.
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail and have good judgment.
  • Familiarity with CNC milling and turning machines and associated cutting tools and techniques.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and an aptitude for working within specific tolerances.
  • Basic knowledge of machining and ability to grasp technical concepts.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
