Job summary

Deutsche Precision, LLC is seeking a CNC Operator to operate Hydromat machines for automated machining of metal bar stock. You will read blueprints to follow exact dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions to produce multiple workpieces per setup.

Applicants should be self-motivated, able to work in a team, and committed to safety and PPE requirements. Prior CNC experience and basic machining knowledge are required, with a preference for high-volume production background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior CNC operation experience is required; high-volume production experience preferred.
• Technical/vocational training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more Hydromat machines that are pre-setup to perform machining operations.
• Read blueprints or job orders for dimensions, tolerances, fixtures, feed rates, speeds, depth of cut, and piece counts.
• Maintain safety and select appropriate PPE; work well in a team environment.

Duties

CNC Operators are responsible for the operation one or more previously set up Hydromat machines equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanism to perform series of machining operations on metal bar stock. Reads blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cut, and number of work pieces to be machined.

Duties

CNC Operators are responsible for the operation one or more previously set up Hydromat machines equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanism to perform series of machining operations on metal bar stock. Reads blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cut, and number of work pieces to be machined.

Must be self-motivated and work well in a team environment. Must be able to work safely, recognize and mitigate any unsafe condition, and select appropriate PPE based on job requirements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, and basic machining knowledge is required. Prior CNC machine operation experience is required, and high-volume metal cutting production experience is highly preferred. Technical education or vocational training in a related field is a plus.

Salary: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
