Job summary

Hydromotion is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Production Team in a full-time, hourly role with a predictable four-day workweek. You will safely run CNC equipment, read engineering prints, set up/changeovers, and perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.

Responsibilities include tool changes, measuring with micrometers/calipers/gauges, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Strong math skills related to machining operations.
  • Ability to follow safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to set up and run multiple machines, or willingness to learn and grow.

  • Load raw material and unload finished parts.
  • Perform manual deburring as required.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and verify parts meet specifications using measuring devices.
  • Complete daily machine upkeep and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Hydromotion is a precision manufacturer committed to quality, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our Production Team. This is an hourly, full-time position offering excellent benefits and a predictable four-day workweek.

What You’ll Do
  • Safely and efficiently operate CNC machining equipment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and loud noise levels
  • Work performed in a non-air-conditioned shop environment
  • Safety shoes and safety glasses are required
Physical demands include:
  • Regular lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
  • Pushing and pulling materials using a pallet jack
  • Reaching with hands and arms, including overhead
  • Standing for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
  • Frequent use of hands for handling, positioning, and operating equipment
  • Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
