Responsibilities

  • Measures, inspects, loads/unloads parts from CNC machine.
  • Implements dimensional adjustments (offsets) as needed.
  • Perform basic set-ups and job changeovers.
  • Change and touch off tooling; adjust part to print specs.
  • Complete quality control documentation and inspection sheets.
  • Communicate issues or inefficiencies promptly.
  • Inspect product per drawings, traveler, work instructions and specs.
  • Follow GMP, SOPs, and safety regulations daily.

Job Description
Position Summary

The CNC Operator operates assigned machines in the Handles Department to produce quality parts, all of which must meet the dimensional specifications of the mechanical engineered drawing. This effort includes, but is not limited to, conducting basic machine changeovers, accurately completing quality control documentation and inspection sheet. This individual works with other machine operators and management to ensure good manufacturing practices, inspection techniques, SOPs, and safety regulations every day.

Essential Functions
  • Measures, inspects, loads/unloads parts from CNC machine
  • Implements dimensional adjustments (offsets) as needed
  • Ability to perform basic set-ups and job change overs.
  • Proficient at changing and touching off all tooling and to adjust part to print specifications.
  • Accurately completes all quality control documentation and inspection sheets
  • Ability to communicate any issues or inefficiencies
  • Inspects product in accordance with all verbal and/or written instructions such as part drawings, traveler, work instructions, and process specifications
  • Embracing Good Manufacturing Practices and inspection techniques each day; following all SOPs and safety regulations
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

Qualifications

  • Intermediate math skills in geometric and trigonometric formulas a plus
