Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Jackson, Mississippi is seeking a CNC Operator to produce machined parts by operating CNC machines and reading mechanical drawings. The role requires loading, unloading, inspecting components to OMS, and making offsets as needed while maintaining tolerances and documenting activities.

You will follow safety rules, participate in continuous improvement projects, and work with precision equipment to contribute to a high-quality manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of using gaging equipment to inspect components.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Proficient problem solving and analytical skills.
• Highly detail oriented.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple CNC and manual machining equipment and workstations.
• Load/unload/inspect components to OMS by use of proper gaging equipment.
• Make offsets and adjustments as required.
• Independently adjust and maintain part specifications and replenish components.
• Inform Facilitator or Department Manager about processes or equipment requiring attention.
• Complete documentation as required or requested.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve processes, productivity, and quality.
