You will operate computer-controlled tools to machine or process parts on wood and other materials, and you may setup and maintain equipment. The role emphasizes safety, precision, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Operations Monitoring – Reading gauges and indicators to ensure proper machine function.
• Control and adjust machine operations and tooling as needed.
• Quality checks and inspections to verify conformance with specs.
• Troubleshooting and resolving machine malfunctions with minimal downtime.
• Strong manual dexterity and precise handling of parts.

Responsibilities

• Measure finished workpieces with precision tools to specs.
• Mount, align, and secure tools and fixtures on machines.
• Stop machines for tooling changes and setup according to sequence.
• Transfer commands to CNC modules via network links.
• Set up and operate CNC machines on wood workpieces.
• Review blueprints to determine operations and sequencing.
