Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Anderson, SC is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts in alignment with engineering specs.

The role requires 1–3 years of CNC experience, ability to read blueprints, and strong attention to detail. Day shift (Mon–Thu 6a–4:30p or Fri–Sun 6a–6p) with full-time employment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNC training preferred.
• 1–3 years CNC operation experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, or grinders) to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Monitor CNC machine operations for proper performance and part quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments.
• Make minor adjustments to machine settings to maintain accuracy and tolerances.
• Maintain accurate production records and log machine activity.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet production goals.
