Job summary

Bestlogic Staffing is seeking a CNC Operator / Machinist for a direct placement role in Farmington, CT. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of CNC machining experience and is a high school graduate or GED.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating bending, laser cutting, and punching machines; debugging issues; maintaining safety and quality logs; and supporting shop floor activities as part of SYNCHRO Plus and daily meetings. This is a full-time, direct placement opportunity.

Qualifications

Job description

Position: CNC Operator / Machinist

Shift: 2nd Hours:3:30pm midnight Type: Full-Time Mode:Direct Placement Industry : Manufacturing

Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Operator/Bending 2nd in a Direct Placement position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of 2-3 years CNC machining experience and High school graduate or equivalent.

Principle Duties

Set up and operate bending, laser cutting, and punching machines. Assist in debugging operating or programming problems with high laser cut quality part Participate in daily shop floor management meeting andbe an active member of SYNCHRO Plus activities (SFM, TK, IK). Maintaining equipment and supplies Maintainquality and safety standards Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.

Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
