Job summary

JobSquad Solutions Team is seeking a CNC Operator for all shifts in the Elgin, IL area. The role involves setting up and operating a 3-axis milling, EDM and/or 5-axis creep feed grinding machine to grind surfaces to customer specs.

Candidates will measure parts with dial indicators, micrometers, calipers and plug gauges, conduct quality checks, and support process improvements. This direct-hire position offers competitive pay of $23-$28 per hour and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Sets up and operates CNC equipment including 3-axis milling, EDM and 5-axis creep feed grinding to customer specs.
• Performs precision measurement and inspection of parts using standard gauges.
• Maintains quality through continuous review of work and processes.
