United Performance Metals is expanding its Advanced Solutions Center in Hamilton, OH with a Grinder and Milling Operator on 2nd shift. You will set up, program, and operate grinders to meet strict tolerances, using precise measuring tools and blueprints.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines.
• Ability to set up and use measuring equipment including CMM, CAD-CAM, micrometers, height gauges, calipers.
• Expert in reading and interpreting blueprints and design sketches.
• Create and maintain updated machining work processes.
• Familiar with warehouse, manufacturing, or production planning environments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Solid shop math skills.
