Job summary

JTEKT Corporation in Alabama seeks a CNC Operator (B-Tech) on the 3rd shift (11pm–7:30am) to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. You will operate CNC and semi-automated equipment, perform quality checks, and support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Uses gauging tools to verify part measurements and tolerances.
• Prior machining experience required for setup and run.
• Follows IATF 16949 quality standards and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Drive and lead team in 5S.
• Relieve Team Lead as needed.
• Operate and maintain CNC and semi-automated equipment in high-volume production.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot sort stops.
• Avoid safety/environmental incidents and follow policies.
• Work overtime and any shift as needed.
