CNC Operator 3 2nd Shift (Finance)

- Gauge and maintain quality parts throughout the machining process.
- Maintain quality standards for production parts according to written quality procedures and practices.
- Maintain accurate parts counts and data integrity by clocking in and out properly on the data computer collection system.
- Mark and/or tag material on stock items and prepare necessary paperwork for proper routing of materials.
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance to cutting tools during production.
- Follow and adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and practices. Maintain good housekeeping and a safe working environment.

Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Frequent exposure to vibration.
- Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, airborne particles, lubricating chemicals, and heat.

Physical DemandsThe physical demands required to perform this job include:
- Regularly standing, walking, handling, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, and hearing.
- Regularly lifting/moving up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 35 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, focus adjustment.
Position DetailsThis is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, with long hours and occasional weekend work as needed.
Requirements- One-year experience with a 3-axis or 4-axis CNC controlled mill.
- Ability to read and edit CNC programs.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges, and vernier calipers.
- Strong communication skills and team flexibility.
- High school diploma or GED, with related experience or equivalent education.
- Ability to perform basic math operations.
- Obtain lift operator license for motorized pallet jack and forklift.
