We are looking for the right individual to join our team as a CNC Operator on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30pm-10:30pm. If you have experience with Citizen Swiss-type machines, that would be a plus. This position is responsible for the set-up and operation of CNC machines in a safe and orderly manner while maximizing production output using efficient and effective methods.

What will you do?

On any given day, your responsibilities would include:

  • Operating multiple machines simultaneously while proactively keeping all machines in the department running.
  • Making adjustments to assure dimension, tolerances, quality and highest accuracy of parts.
  • Performing inspection of your parts and your co-workers' parts utilizing measurement tools i.e. snap gage, digital calipers, micrometers, optical comparator and other measuring instruments.
  • Performing minor editing of current programs.
  • Following established procedures as well as quality and safety standards.
  • Communicating delays and problems effectively and timely.

You are a great fit if you have the following:

  • High school degree or GED
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivation
  • Strong understanding of machining practices
  • Good working knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, basic math and measuring instruments
  • 1+ years of machining experience or a recent certificate in precision machining or related field
  • Ability to work well within a team or independently and a demonstrated initiative to drive for results
