Overview

Join our team at Hytrol Conveyor Company, a leading conveyor manufacturer, where you can enjoy competitive benefits and a family atmosphere. We are currently seeking 2 nd and 3 rd shift CNC Operators at our Jonesboro location. In this position you will operate and perform daily preventive maintenance on Computer Numerically Controlled lathes and mills.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate CNC machines and equipment to support the manufacturing process
  • Set up CNC machines and equipment, including changeovers, recalls of basic CNC programs, editing CNC programs, or calling up CNC programs or offsets
  • Read complex blueprints to meet specifications
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
  • Use a micrometer and/or a caliper to perform quality and product measurements
  • Perform basic computer functions using ERP and Document Manager
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

  • 1 year of CNC Lathe or Mill experience
  • Organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Education

High School Diploma or GED required
