Job Description

The Operator 1, CNC is responsible for operating assigned CNC machinery, ensuring efficient production and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role involves monitoring equipment performance, performing routine maintenance and adjustments, and verifying that finished products meet precise specifications. The Operator 1, CNC also plays a key role in supporting continuous production flow while maintaining a focus on safety and operational excellence.

Shift: 1st Shift (7am-3pm)

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate assigned CNC machinery with a focus on maintaining production schedules, ensuring optimal machine performance, and meeting safety standards.
  • Ensure all produced items meet strict quality control requirements, conducting regular checks and inspections to maintain product specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to equipment, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, understanding specifications to ensure accurate setup and machining of parts to required tolerances.
  • Utilize basic measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet precise requirements.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow and interpret written and verbal work directions.
  • Basic mathematical skills.

  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience.
