Job summary

Corlett-Turner Company is seeking a skilled machinist to operate CNC machines, read blueprints, and perform standard operations from predefined programs. The role emphasizes accuracy in drilling, boring, milling, and turning, with strict tolerance awareness and tool changes as needed.

The position requires following written instructions and inspecting parts for conformance using measurement devices. Shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM, with comprehensive benefits after 90 days.

Summary: Requires the ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specifications, or equivalent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Operates and adjusts multiple semi-automatic or automatic numerically control machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided and setups are often made and maintained by others

Knowledge of operations including drilling, boring, and milling, turning, etc.

Recognizes tooling and procedures where tolerances are close, but not difficult to maintain

Check parts for conformance to specifications

Ability to use measurement devices

Ability to change tools, manipulate machine program
