Job summary

Basalte is seeking a CNC milling operator to join our production team in Belgium. You will set up and run four Datron 3-axis milling machines to manufacture parts in aluminum, brass, plastic and MDF/HDF, ensuring tight tolerances and high quality finishes.

You will monitor schedules, communicate deviations, and perform basic machine maintenance. A2 technical education and CAD/CAM experience (Mastercam/Autodesk Inventor) are valued; fluent Dutch is required.

Qualifications

• Be enthusiastic and driven, and take satisfaction in delivering quality products.
• Have an affinity for machining.
• Have experience operating/setting up CNC-controlled milling machines.
• Have completed a technical education (A2).
• Have worked with a CAD/CAM program before. Knowledge of Mastercam and/or Autodesk Inventor is a plus.
• Have a steady hand capable of precise, smooth movements with the necessary accuracy and attention to quality.
• Value order and cleanliness in your work.
• Speak fluent Dutch.

• Provide essential support in the production of parts for our products on our various CNC milling machines (Datron).
• Form an important link within the production team, working closely with mechanical engineering.

You will be responsible for:

• Manufacturing various parts in aluminum, brass, plastic, and MDF/HDF by setting up and operating our four Datron milling machines (3-axis).
