Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 2 years CNC operator experience in an Automotive Manufacturing Setting.
• Troubleshoot and adjust robot positions using teach pendant.
• Computer skills.
• Workplace machinery tools: SAP handheld scanners, calculators, printers, calipers.
• Working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 compliance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and promote Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Operate machinery in various CNC machining centers.
• Set machine controls according to program and install fixtures.
• Responsible for set-up, repairing tooling and troubleshoot machines in their cell area.
• Make preliminary checks on first piece and adjust tools to maintain dimensions and quality.
• Complete and update production paperwork daily (production reports, TAKT, scrap reports, etc.).
• Manually position and remove tools as prescribed.
• Perform quality checks on production as specified by Quality control.
• Report quality defects to Team Leader or Supervision.

• Support the Company’s Goals and Objectives
• Operate machinery in various CNC machining centers
• Set machine controls according to program and installs fixtures
