Job summary

Taylor Corporation's Acrylic Design Associates (ADA) is seeking a CNC Operator to join the 2nd shift in Plymouth, MN. Review job travelers, set up and operate machinery, and perform first article inspections to ensure quality.

You must understand Funuc CIM programming and ADA Machining Equipment; the shift runs Monday through Thursday, 2:45pm to 1:15am. Taylor offers DailyPay and a competitive hourly rate of $22–$26.

Qualifications

• General understanding of Funuc Controlled Machinery and Router CIM programming.
• General understanding of ADA Machining Equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good math and problem solving skills.
• Safety and Hazardous Material training (provided by ADA)

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret job travelers, measured drawings, cut sheets, and inspection documents to complete production work accurately.
• Set up and operate machinery according to job specifications, drawings, and operating procedures.
• Perform and document first article and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Use calipers, protractors, tape measures, and other measurement equipment to verify product quality.
• Operate equipment safely, perform routine maintenance, and follow established production procedures.
• Handle, label, and store completed parts and materials according to documented guidelines.
• Maintain required process certifications and comply with quality standards and inspection requirements.
• Support department upkeep through proper care of Company equipment, tools, and company property.
• Follow all company, state, and federal safety regulations and report injuries promptly.

Your Opportunity:

Acrylic Design Associates (ADA) , a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a CNC Operator to join the team on 2nd shift in Plymouth, MN !

You Must Have:

• Possession of good math and problem solving skills
• Safety and Hazardous Material training (provided by ADA)

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $ 22.00 - $26.00 . The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employee.
