Job summary

Taylor Corporation’s Acrylic Design Associates (ADA) is seeking a CNC Operator for 2nd shift in Plymouth, MN. Responsibilities include setting up machines, interpreting drawings, and conducting inspections to ensure quality. The role requires precise measurement work and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret job travelers, drawings, cut sheets, and inspection documents to complete production work accurately.
• Set up and operate machinery according to job specifications and procedures.
• Perform and document first article and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Use calipers, protractors, tape measures, and other measurement equipment to verify product quality.
• Operate equipment safely, perform routine maintenance, and follow production procedures.
• Handle, label, and store completed parts and materials per guidelines.
• Maintain process certifications and comply with quality standards and inspection requirements.
• Support department upkeep and care of equipment and property.
• Follow all safety regulations and report injuries.

Your Opportunity:

Acrylic Design Associates (ADA), a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a CNC Operator to join the team on 2nd shift in Plymouth, MN!

Your Shift

2nd Shift; Monday - Thursday 2:45pm - 1:15am

Your Responsibilities

• Review and interpret job travelers, measured drawings, cut sheets, and inspection documents to complete production work accurately.
• Set up and operate machinery according to job specifications, drawings, and operating procedures.
• Perform and document first article and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Use calipers, protractors, tape measures, and other measurement equipment to verify product quality.
• Operate equipment safely, perform routine maintenance, and follow established production procedures.
• Handle, label, and store completed parts and materials according to documented guidelines.
• Maintain required process certifications and comply with quality standards and inspection requirements.
• Support department upkeep through proper care of Company equipment, tools, and company property.
• Follow all company, state, and federal safety regulations and report injuries promptly.

You Must Have

• General understanding of Funuc Controlled Machinery and Router CIM programming
• General understanding of ADA Machining Equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Possession of good math and problem solving skills
• Safety and Hazardous Material training (provided by ADA)

Requirements Within This Position

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
