Responsibilities

  • Operate, set up, and monitor CNC routing equipment using approved programs, blueprints, and manufacturing work instructions.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate machine setup and production output.
  • Gather materials, prepare tooling, load and unload machines, and safely transfer products throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Perform machine offset adjustments, routine equipment maintenance, tooling inspections, and troubleshooting to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Conduct quality inspections, verify dimensional accuracy, and communicate production or quality concerns to leadership.
  • Record production, labor, and material usage in company systems while maintaining compliance with manufacturing standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, productivity goals, workplace organization, and safety best practices.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to deliver high-quality products on time in a CNC manufacturing environment.

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities and flexible scheduling needs.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
  • Capable of safely lifting, carrying, loading, and moving materials and finished products in a production setting.
  • Ability to operate machinery, handle tooling, and work around moving equipment while following all safety procedures.
  • Must maintain visual accuracy for inspections, measurements, and quality verification tasks.

What You Will Do

As a CNC Operator you will set up, operate, monitor, and adjust CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications. You will verify machine setups, inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, troubleshoot machining issues, maintain tooling, and support quality and production goals while following established safety and manufacturing procedures.

A CNC Operator produces precision parts through the operation of advanced CNC machining equipment. This role requires technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy throughout every stage of the machining process.
