CNC Operator

A precision machine parts manufacturer based in Dundalk is currently seeking a CNC Operator!

Company:
Established for over several decades and with a headcount of over 100 people, our client has cemented their reputation in the Irish engineering market as one of the leading practices in precision engineering who manufacture innovative and cutting-edge precision machine components. They boast a portfolio of work in the medical, aerospace, and electronics markets in which they consistently refine and improve processes and methods to offer the best solutions. They are now looking to further strengthen the team with a talented CNC Operator!

Role:
This role is a weekend shift role and site-based in Dundalk. The successful CNC Operator will carry out the following:

1. Set up and operation of machines e.g. speeds, feeds etc., while adjusting machines when necessary.
2. Responsible for quality checks through observation to detect work-piece defects and machine malfunctions.
3. Involved in troubleshooting of machines and processes.
4. Ensure compliance with industry quality and environmental standards.
5. Be involved in machine and tooling maintenance plans, as well as continuous improvement efforts.

Person:
For this CNC Operator role, we are looking to speak to candidates who meet the following requirements or similar:

1. Experience in a similar CNC Operator role.
2. Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
3. Experience working with 3, 4, & 5 axis CNC machines is beneficial.
4. Experience with milling and turning machines is extremely advantageous.

Shift Patterns:
Monday-Thursdays 10:30pm-7:30am (36-hour week)

Package:

1. Salary: €35,334 (including shift-premium).
2. 3-day work week! (Fri-Sun).
3. Healthcare Discount.
4. 22 days Holiday.

Location: Dundalk
