Job summary

Hybron is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Engineer for our El Segundo facility to join a fast-paced, hands-on shop environment. You will machine molds and components for production and prototyping, including CAM programming, setup, and machining, while collaborating with engineering to optimize designs for scalable manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has 1–4+ years in CNC machining (mold making/3D surfacing preferred), strong CAD/CAM skills, and the ability to read GD&T and technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–4+ years of CNC machining experience, with mold making or high-precision or 3D surfacing background.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and CNC vertical machines and lathes.
• Ability to read CAD/CAM models, GD&T, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-end molds and prototype parts on fast timelines.
• Manage full process from CAM programming to setup and machining.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize designs for production.
• Co-own materials and tooling operations, including capacity planning and tooling acquisition.
• Communicate project timelines, setbacks, and updates clearly.
• Develop CAM templates and fixturing methods for scalable production.
