Job summary

Wright Architectural Millwork Corp. in Chicopee, MA is hiring a full-time pre-production technician to support cutting, listing and CNC programming.

The role offers mentoring for those with cabinetry or woodworking background and a path to grow in a hands-on shop environment. Responsibilities include generating parts lists from shop drawings, creating detailed slips and packing lists, and developing CNC programs with AutoCAD, Microvellum, Wood Wop and Cut Rite.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret shop drawings.
• Familiarity with CNC machinery and shop processes.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Cut Rite, Microvellum, Alphacam and Wood Wop a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate both manual and electronic parts list from shop drawings.
• Produce detailed material pull slips and packing lists for shop personnel & shipping/receiving.
• Create CNC programs using AutoCAD, Microvellum, Wood Wop and Cut Rite software.
• Assign CNC coded machining processes to parts, jigs and fixtures to aid assembly.
