Job summary

Randstad in Washington state is seeking a CNC Milling Machine Setup Technician to set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis vertical CNC mills to manufacture high-precision components that meet strict drawings and customer specifications. You will write, edit, and troubleshoot basic CNC programs in G-code, interpret engineering drawings, use precision gauges, and verify first-piece dimensions while sustaining quality and safety standards.

Requires 5 years of experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in CNC milling
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
• Experience with G-code programming and setup

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis vertical CNC milling machines.
• Write, edit, and troubleshoot basic CNC programs using G-code.
• Program and work with positional indexers.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate machining.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments and gauges to verify first-piece and production dimensions.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure all parts meet customer specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to support production goals.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
