Job summary

Basalte is seeking a CNC milling operator to join our production team in Belgium. You will set up and run four Datron 3-axis milling machines to manufacture parts in aluminum, brass, plastic and MDF/HDF, ensuring tight tolerances and high quality finishes.

You will monitor schedules, communicate deviations, and perform basic machine maintenance. A2 technical education and CAD/CAM experience (Mastercam/Autodesk Inventor) are valued; fluent Dutch is required.

Qualifications

Be enthusiastic and driven, and take satisfaction in delivering quality products.
Have an affinity for machining.
Have experience operating/setting up CNC-controlled milling machines.
Have completed a technical education (A2).
Have worked with a CAD/CAM program before. Knowledge of Mastercam and/or Autodesk Inventor is a plus.
Have a steady hand capable of precise, smooth movements with the necessary accuracy and attention to quality.
Value order and cleanliness in your work.
Speak fluent Dutch.

Responsibilities

Manufacturing various parts in aluminum, brass, plastic, and MDF/HDF by setting up and operating our four Datron milling machines (3-axis).
Closely monitoring the machine schedule and promptly communicating any deviations to your colleagues.
Delivering a high-quality finish on our products so they can move on to the next steps in our production chain.
Carrying out the necessary pre- and post-processing of parts.
Performing basic maintenance on the milling machines and equipment.
