Nucor Rytec Corporation is seeking a CNC Operator to set up and run CNC milling equipment based on the bill of materials and work instructions. You will plan daily workload, move parts with a forklift, and ensure parts meet specifications.

The role requires operating hand and power tools, reading simple instructions, and maintaining safety standards in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines per BOM/work instructions.
• Plan daily workload to meet production schedules.
• Transport parts using forklift.
• Cut parts with Up Cut saw and stage for CNC operations.
• Load CNC programs and monitor machine operations for issues.
• Inspect parts for conformance to specifications.
