Responsibilities

• Receive and retain CNC operation, setup, and program adjustments training to support mills and lathe team.
• Create tooling offsets and adjustments to consistently meet close tolerances.
• Set tools, calibrate, and operate CNC machines and lathes for turning, drilling, boring, threading, tapping, and milling.
• Interpret blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Identify and correct malfunctions.
• Collaborate with coworkers to share machining techniques.

Shift Hours: 3 PM - 11:30 pm Monday - Friday with some overtime on Saturdays. All new hires must train on first shift for up to 6 weeks. First shift schedule is 7 am - 3:30 pm

What you’ll be doing?

• Able to receive and retain advanced CNC operation, setup, and program adjustments training to assist the mills and lathe team in producing consistent parts to spec and on schedule.
• Create tooling offsets and adjustments to the manufacturer to consistently meet close tolerances.
• Set tools, calibrate, and operate CNC machines and lathes for various operations including turning, drilling, boring, threading, tapping, and milling.
• Interpret blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Ability to recognize and correct malfunctions.
• Work in a team atmosphere to assist/instruct coworkers with machining techniques.
