Job summary

ACE Partners in Houston, TX is seeking a CNC Mill/Turn Programmer - 5-Axis for a 1st shift. You will program and set up complex parts, reviewing drawings and CAD models to determine machining strategies and tooling.

TA: GibbsCAM, Fusion 360, Mastercam experience required. Expect work with exotic alloys and aerospace-grade materials as the shop expands toward SpaceX-related programs, in a small, visibility-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Review engineering drawings and CAD models to determine machining strategy, workholding and tooling.
• Program and set up jobs on a 5-axis mill/turn machining center from raw stock through first article and production runs.
• CAM programming in GibbsCAM, Fusion 360, or Mastercam; edit and troubleshoot at the controller.
• Hold tight tolerances across a range of exotic alloys and aerospace-grade materials.
• 5+ years CNC programming experience, with prior mill/turn or multi-axis lathe programming preferred.

CNC Mill/Turn Programmer - 5-Axis - Houston, TX - 1st Shift

Pay: $35,00 - $50.00 per hour

Key responsibilities & requirements:

• Review engineering drawings and CAD models to determine machining strategy, work holding, and tooling selection for complex 5-axis mill/turn parts
• Program and set up jobs on a 5-axis mill/turn machining center, working from raw stock through first-article and production runs
• CAM programming in GibbsCAM, Fusion 360, or Mastercam; edit and troubleshoot at the controller (Fanuc / Matrix control)
• Hold tight tolerances across a materials range spanning oil & gas exotic alloys (Inconel and others) to aerospace-grade aluminum and 15-5 PH stainless
• 5+ years CNC programming experience, with prior mill/turn or multi-axis lathe programming preferred
