Job summary

BWX Technologies, Inc. seeks a CNC Mill/Turn Machine Operator in Euclid, OH, to set up, operate and inspect multiple CNC machining centers. Responsibilities include interpreting complex blueprints, selecting tooling, inputting programs, and ensuring parts meet specifications.

The role requires at least 2 years of CNC setup/operation experience or completion of an accredited training program, with the ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift. Competitive benefits and safety-focused environment offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in set-up and operation of CNC Mill/Turn Centers or completion of an accredited training program.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and procedures.
• Proficient computer and CNC control skills including editing speeds/feeds/tool offsets.
• Ability to operate a pendant crane and rig parts up to 1000 lbs.
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and inspect CNC Mill/Turn machining centers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, procedures, and data to determine tooling and setup.
• Position tooling and workpieces, input programs and adjust controls.
• Monitor machine performance and tool changes; measure parts for conformance.
• Maintain logs and communicate issues with supervision and engineering.
