Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace, a global manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components, is seeking an on-site CNC Machinist in South Windsor, CT. The role involves operating CNC milling machines under supervision, performing setups, and ensuring parts meet blueprints.

You will work 1st shift, 7:30am–3:30pm, with responsibilities including edits, adjustments, quality checks, and proper paperwork while maintaining safety and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years machinist experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC milling machines under supervision and with prepared programs, fixtures, and methods.
• Makes edits and adjustments to meet blueprint specifications.
• Operates more than one machine in a cellular environment when required.
• Understands feeds, speeds, cutting tools and their applications.
• Inspects features for conformance to specifications and documents results.
• Maintains shop area, equipment, and tooling in good condition.
