Job summary

AFCO Products, Inc. is seeking skilled CNC machinists to set up and operate CNC milling machines for precision parts. Applicants should be proficient in G-code, tool setting, GD&T, and blueprint interpretation.

Responsibilities include writing/editing G-code, measuring parts with precision tools, and maintaining SPC documentation. The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple machines on different shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and running CNC mills.
• Ability to write/edit G-code programs.
• Read GD&T, blueprints and fill out SPC sheets.
• Set tools and offsets; measure and inspect parts.
• Experience with precision measuring tools.
• Ability to multi-task and organize workloads on multiple machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.
• Read blueprints and GD&T, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances.
• Write/edit G-code programs and set tools/offsets for production.
• Measure and inspect parts with precision tools; complete SPC sheets as required.
• Coordinate workloads across multiple machines and maintain clean, safe work environment.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience setting up and running CNCmills
• 4th axis experience is a benefit
• Must be able to write/edit G-code programs, set tools,set/make offsets, measure andinspect parts
• Ability to read and understand GD&T, tight tolerances, blueprints and fill out production SPC sheets
• Experience with precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to multi-task and organize production workloads on multiple machines
• Positive attitude and pride of workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
