Job description

We are hiring an experienced CNC Mill Operator for second shift (2:30 pm to 11:30 pm) to operate a CNC HAAS 3-Axis Milling machine. The role includes cross-training and occasional operation of lathes.

We work with aluminum, plastic, and stainless steel to produce simple parts.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Performing in-process inspections using calipers and micrometers.
• Adjusting offsets and programming as needed to maintain tolerances.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Using shop math to check parts accurately.
• Performing basic maintenance on machines, including cleaning and coolant maintenance.
• Assisting around the shop with deburring, tapping, and other tasks to keep production moving.
• Maintaining paperwork related to production and quality records.
• Following all safety policies and procedures.

Required experience & qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC Mills, with HAAS preferred.
• Knowledge of algebra, geometry, and metric to imperial conversions.
• Understanding of G-code and M-code.
• Proficiency in GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Experience in part inspection and quality accountability.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds, stand for up to 8 hours, and perform repetitive tasks for 2-4 hours, with breaks and ergonomic support available.
