Job summary

AFL is seeking a CNC Mill Operator to produce machined parts by operating CNC equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will follow procedures to ensure quality, productivity, and cost control while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (or 1+ years manufacturing experience) and is able to pass pre-employment screening. This weekend day shift offers AFL benefits including 401K, health plans, and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical/drug screen.
• Comfortable with basic math and using handheld measurement devices.
• Team player with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and promote AFL EH&S policies.
• Monitor production and conduct efficient machine changeovers.
• Ensure parts meet quality specifications and daily goals.
• Enter production and quality data into a computer.
• Maintain assigned work area and equipment in clean condition.
• Assist other operators with setup and operation as needed.
• Document and report quality issues.
• Complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks on time.
• Perform other duties as directed.
