Position: CNC Operator - Afternoon Shift (4:30pm - 1:00am)

Location: New Baltimore, MI
Right off I-94 at the corner of Gratiot and 26 Mile Road

With facilities across Canada, Texas, Colombia, Mexico, and Brazil, we are among the world's largest producers of extrusion tooling. Our mission is to produce durable aluminum extrusion dies, supporting markets in construction, automotive, and consumer goods, with a capacity exceeding 4,500 dies per month.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of CNC machining experience; experience with CAM programs preferred
  • Tool and die machining experience
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to operate multiple machines
  • Organizational skills
  • Basic math skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass drug test, physical, and background check

Job Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce machined parts, ensuring quality and safety standards
  • Plan machining operations based on work orders, blueprints, and specifications
  • Maintain safe operations by following safety procedures
  • Program mills by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and compensation
  • Document actions and communicate irregularities across shifts
  • Measure, troubleshoot, adjust, and reprogram controls to maintain specifications
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
