What you'll be doing

• Set up and operate CNC mills to produce precision parts to customer specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, customer prints, work orders, and job instructions
• Verify programs, tooling, fixtures, workholding, and setup requirements
• Dry-run new programs and confirm proper machine operation before full production
• Make offsets and basic program edits to maintain required tolerances
• Inspect first pieces and finished parts using micrometers, dial calipers, thread gauges, verniers, and other precision measuring equipment
• Monitor tool wear, surface finish, and machine performance throughout the run
• Identify concerns early and work with Team Leads and Quality to resolve them
• Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation and follow all safety and quality procedures

What we're looking for

• Previous CNC mill setup and operating experience
• Ability to independently complete machine setups and read blueprints and customer specifications
• Experience performing dry runs, making offsets, and completing basic program edits
• Proficiency with standard precision measuring equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
• Dependability, clear communication, and willingness to learn different programs, parts, and setups

Pay, benefits and schedule

$29–$39/hour. Second shift, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM — 40 hours per week, with optional (never mandatory) overtime available Fridays and Saturdays.
