Advance CNC Machining in Grove City, Ohio is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join a growing team. You will operate Makino 4-5 axis milling centers and Swiss & Mill Turn, interpreting blueprints and tolerances while maintaining high precision and process discipline.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and blueprints to understand part geometry, features, and tolerances.
• Operate Makino 4-5 Axis CNC milling centers and Swiss & Mill Turn, often with automation.
• Load materials, change tools, and set offsets for efficient machining.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, CMM, and other precision tools; review CMM reports for accuracy.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and complete production and inspection docs.

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM
Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Up to $35/hour DOE

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus — $2,500 at 90 Days + $2,500 at 6 Months

What You'll Do

As an experienced CNC Machinist, you'll bring technical designs to life while maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and quality our customers depend on.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting technicaldrawings and blueprints tounderstand part geometry, features, andtolerances.
• Operating multiple Makino 4 & 5-Axis CNC milling machine centers and Swiss & Mill Turn, many with the help of automation.
• Loading raw materials, changing tools, and making offsetsfor efficient andaccuratemachining.
• Inspecting and measuring finished partsusingcalipers, micrometers,CMM,and otherprecision tools.
• Reviewing and understanding CMM reportsto verify dimensional accuracy.
• Completing inspection and production reportsto ensure documentation and workflow accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to $35/hour, depending on experience
• 401(k) with a 100% employer match up to $5,200 per year
• 80 hours of PTO in your first year, increasing annually up to 200 hours

• Strong ability toread and interpret blueprints, drawings, and CMM data, including GD&T.
• Proficiencywithprecision measurement tools includingcalipers, micrometers, height gauges, and more.
• Solidmechanical aptitude withaproblem‑solvermindset.
• Excellentcommunication skills—able to collaborate with programmers, quality inspectors, and fellow machinists.
• Aproactive,self‑driven work style withthe ability to complete taskswith minimaldirection.
• Experience operating 4-5 axis Makino machines and Swiss & Mill Turn isa strong plus.
