Job summary

Calisota Parts LLC is seeking a CNC Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC milling equipment to produce precision components, ensuring quality, productivity, and safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and detail-oriented, comfortable reading blueprints and using inspection tooling in a precision environment. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• CNC mill setup and operation experience required.
• Manufacturing or precision machining experience required.
• Hurco experience required.
• Fusion 360 or Mastercam experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• GD&T knowledge preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling equipment according to work instructions and production requirements.
• Load and unload material, fixtures, tooling, and finished components.
• Verify programs, tooling, work offsets, and setup requirements before production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and inspection requirements.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Monitor machine performance, tool wear, cycle time, and product quality.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, fixture, and dimensional issues.
• Communicate concerns promptly to the CNC Lead, Quality, or Engineering.
• Maintain accurate production, inspection, scrap, and downtime records.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and operator-level preventive maintenance.
• Support setup reduction, process improvement, and scrap reduction initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
