Atlas Staffing is hiring an experienced CNC Mill Machinist for a precision manufacturing opportunity in Boise. This role is a strong fit for a hands on machinist who can program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills while maintaining tight quality standards.
Produce precision machined components to specification by setting up, programming, operating, and monitoring CNC milling equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, work instructions, and GD&T
Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines
Load and secure workpieces manually or with lifting equipment
Monitor machining operations and make offsets or adjustments as needed
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, fixed gauges, optical comparators, and other measuring equipment
Identify machining or process issues and recommend improvements
Perform basic deburring, sanding, filing, and finishing when needed
Clean machined components using approved cleaning methods
Maintain strong attention to detail and quality throughout production
Follow established safety procedures and required PPE guidelines
Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience, or completion of a qualifying apprenticeship or college machining program
Working knowledge of CNC Mill G code and M code programming
Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
Experience using precision measuring and inspection tools
Basic computer skills, including email, opening and printing documents, and navigating standard computer applications
Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds
