Job summary

Atlas Staffing, Inc. in Boise, Idaho, is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes while maintaining tight quality standards.

You will read blueprints and GD&T, load and secure materials, monitor offsets, and inspect parts with precision measuring tools. This role offers a Monday–Friday night shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with competitive pay and safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years CNC machining experience or completion of a qualifying apprenticeship or college machining program
• Working knowledge of CNC Lathe G code and M code programming
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, work instructions, and GD&T
• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes
• Load and secure workpieces manually or with lifting equipment
• Monitor machining operations and make offsets or adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, fixed gauges, optical comparators, and other measuring equipment
• Identify machining or process issues and recommend improvements
• Perform basic deburring, sanding, filing, and finishing when needed
• Clean machined components using approved cleaning methods
• Maintain strong attention to detail and quality throughout production
• Follow established safety procedures and required PPE guidelines

Atlas Staffing is hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for a precision manufacturing opportunity in Boise. This role is a strong fit for a hands on machinist who can program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes while maintaining tight quality standards.

Role Purpose

Produce precision machined components to specification by setting up, programming, operating, and monitoring CNC lathe equipment.

Pay

• $25.00 per hour
