GE Aerospace in McAllen, TX is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to set up and run multiple machines (CNC, ECG, EDM, lathe, mills) on turbine engine components. You will read drawings, follow work instructions, and help ensure part quality and on-time delivery.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, and related manufacturing technology education plus CNC apprenticeship. Overtime and shift work may be required with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology or 24 college credit hours.
• CNC Operator Apprenticeship with 288 hours completed.
• NIMS CNC Mill Operator CAR certification completed.
• 1+ years CNC operator experience; overtime and all shifts eligible.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; follow procedures and document work.

Responsabilités

• Set up, adjust, verify programming, and operate CNC machines for complex operations.
• Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes as required.
• Measure work using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and surface plates.
• Ensure smooth product flow in the repair process.
• Adhere to safety procedures, lock-out/tag-out, and PPE usage.
• Assist in training new associates.
