Qualifications

• Two years of experience and/or training on CNC Machines.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience in set-up and operation of 3 and 4 axis CNC vertical and horizontal milling machines.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, Safety Data sheets, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Set-ups and operation of all machines and processes in the assigned cell.
• Provide training to operators as required.
• Use tool presetting equipment to set and adjust tools; perform full offset adjustments for first article inspection.
• Assist Tool Design in fixture, program proofing and tooling setups; monitor process and program readouts during operation.
• Follow drawings and setup documentation accurately.
• Maintain equipment, tools and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation.
• Work with minimal supervision.
