American Precision Industries, Inc. is seeking a CNC Mills Machinist to run vertical CNC mills or load and change parts on CNC mill cells to produce parts according to blueprints under the supervision of senior machinists.

This full-time, on-site role offers $28/hr plus DOE and a monthly bonus when company-wide goals are met. Schedule is Mon–Thu, 6:00am–4:30pm, with comprehensive benefits including 100% paid medical/dental/life, HRA, 401(k) contributions, PTO, training, EAP, and more.

Job Title: CNC Mills Machinist

Status: Non-exempt (hourly)

Pay: $28/hr.+ DOE, plus monthly bonus program is paid when company-wide monthly sales goal is reached (full-time).

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Run vertical CNC Mill and/or load and change out parts on CNC Mill Cells to produce product according to blueprints under the supervision of Senior Machinists.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

This job typically requires 6 months - 1 year experience operating CNC Vertical Mills or Horizontal Cell, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and a basic knowledge of machining. This job requires the use of precision measuring tools, 500# hoist and automatic drills or screwdrivers.

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to read and write in English is required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Run CNC mills or assigned machining cells by loading raw material, changing out parts, and following setup sheets and work instructions.
• Inspect first-article parts using appropriate measurement tools and submit to Quality Control when required.
• Machine parts to blueprint specifications, verifying dimensions and tolerances throughout the run to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Perform secondary operations such as tapping, deburring, cleaning, and part finishing as needed.
• Carry out additional machining or production tasks as assigned to support workflow and production goals.
