Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Machine Operator to operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, ensuring safe, efficient production and adherence to quality standards. This role follows established procedures and works under close supervision, with smaller decisions made autonomously.

Key duties include setting up machines, making minor adjustments, inspecting parts for defects, recording production data, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Basic vocational training or equivalent work experience.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience to carry out the role.
• 5 Axis machining is a requirement.
• Basic mechanical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.

About the role Job Summary The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring machinery used in the manufacturing process. This role ensures that machines run efficiently, products meet quality standards, and safety protocols are followed. This job profile is intended for support staff that follows established procedures and works under close supervision. Smaller/easier decisions are made autonomously.
