Job summary

Techoundsllc currently seeks a CNC Mill Machinist with 4-5 axis capabilities to run and set up complex Machining operations in our Burbank, CA facility. The role focuses on producing high-precision aerospace components while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in interpreting blueprints, G-code, and machining parameters, and will actively troubleshoot to minimize downtime. This position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• US Person per ITAR – US Citizen.
• Experience machining with 4-5 axis CNC Mills (Mazak, Fadal, Toyoda) preferably in aerospace manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Understand work orders, blueprints, manufacturing orders, and machining parameters.
• Validate material used.
• Maintain specifications; troubleshoot, detect malfunctions and take appropriate actions; know when to replace worn tools.
• Listen to machining operation to detect sounds of dull tools or excessive vibration and compensate for problems.
• Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance using precision measuring instruments, templates, fixtures and GDT knowledge.
• Maintain continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating actions taken and any necessary further steps.
• Any other task assigned by supervisor or management.

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour (1st or 2nd shift)

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience machining with 4-5 axis CNC Mills (Mazak, Fadal, Toyoda) preferably in aerospace manufacturing.

Job Summary

The CNC Machinist produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Essential Functions

• Understand work orders,blueprints, manufacturing orders, and machining parameters
• Validate material used
• Maintain specifications; Troubleshoot, detect malfunctions and take appropriate actions; Know when to replace worn tools
• Listen to machining operation in order to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and compensate for problems
• Measure dimensions of finishedwork pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments, templates, fixtures and knowledge of GDT standards
• Maintain continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating actions taken thus far as well as any necessary further steps
• Any other task assigned by supervisor or management

Qualifications

• Experience working with Mazak, Fadal, or Toyoda CNC machines
• Understanding of CNC G Code
• Understanding of basic Math, Geometry and Trigonometry

Hourly Ranges for CNC Machinist II and III.

The level of the position will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities.
