Job summary

IMG Companies, a Division of Ichor Systems, is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist at the Larkin facility in Scotts Valley, CA. The role focuses on high-precision aerospace/defense parts using Matsuura, Haas, and five-axis milling, with strict AS9100 and customer requirements.

You will set up and run 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills, troubleshoot programs, and collaborate with engineering while maintaining quality and documentation. This is a day shift, M-F, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC set-up machining experience, aerospace/defense preferred.
• Advanced multi-axis machining and strong G-code knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace materials and machining practices.
• Deep understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, G&M codes.
• Experience with regulated environments (AS9100, NADCAP).
• Use inspection tools to monitor dimensional accuracy.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch and push/pull/up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading written instructions, lists, documents, blueprints, and computer screen.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing setting includes areas such as machine shop, warehouse, and office with some exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work is performed in compliance with AS9100, ISO9001:2008, & NADCAP Standards
• Occasionally, subjected to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards moving machines or parts, dust, mist and fumes.

For CA candidates: The base salary range for this full-time position is $29.90 to $50.82 hourly, Non-Exempt
